The foundation stone for the construction of the church was laid by H.H.Pathrose Mar Osthathios -Metropolitan of Malankara Orthdox Syrian Church on 16.03.1954

The stone for the construction of “ALTAR”-(Holy Thronose) was laid by H.H.Gheevarghese 2nd Catholicose of the Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church on 1.1.1956 in the name of Kothamangalam Eldho Mar Baselios Bava
